Pay Rate Range: $55 - $60
POSITION SUMMARY
The Supply chain Manager is responsible for supporting the Cell and Genetic Therapies Supply Chain in the development and execution of external manufacturing operations and strategy.
The successful candidate will support the CDMO Management activities with assigned external partners, working with and supporting all cross-functional groups to ensure the seamless supply of externally manufactured products and critical raw materials. Maintain operational oversight of and troubleshooting support to CDMO to ensure all deliverables meet or exceed requirements, including but not limited to the successful execution of manufacturing operations, on-time shipments, supplier selection and risk mitigation strategies, drug labeling, SOW execution, develop plan for distribution from CDMO to clinical site, manage plasmid inventory levels and shipments, quality compliance, and cost management. Drive effective internal processes, identify bottlenecks, and proactively resolve issues. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to affect the timely resolution of supply issues. Facilitate collection of data to track CDMO performance and compliance on metrics/KPIs, including but not limited to contractual agreements, batch release, spend/budget, product quality, and supply integrity

TECHNICAL SKILLS
- · In depth GMP End to End Supply Chain Knowledge
- · Some Cell / Gene manufacturing awareness
- · Advanced excel skills include v-look up, pivot tables, and graphing highly desired.
- · In-depth knowledge of MRP and conceptual knowledge of ERP systems
- · Experience and certification in Lean or Six Sigma methodology
- · Some experience with Project Management
QUALIFICATIONS
- · Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Life Sciences, or equivalent experience
- · At least three years of experience in a Pharma Supply Chain Management and External Manufacturing Management
- · Experience in Project Management working with virtual global teams
- · Experience in Technology Transfers and new product launches
- · Experience in managing suppliers and CDMOs / CROs within the pharmaceutical industry
- · Able to communicate at the senior and operational level, both internally and externally
- · Able to think critically to make strategic and tactical decisions to support the business and ensure the continuous supply
- · Self-starter, results-oriented, and able to prioritize the tasks
- · Able to influence and negotiate internally and externally
- · Able to effectively manage a complex network of internal/external stakeholders and decision-makers
