Job Description

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for coordinating, organizing, and overseeing all activities related to the planning, production, logistics, and distribution of the company’s goods. This role is critical in supporting our clients overall supply chain strategy to ensure operational efficiency and the achievement of organizational goals and KPIs.
Key Accountabilities
•            Lead and manage all aspects of logistics, warehousing, and production planning to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
•            Collaborate cross-functionally to align supply chain operations with business objectives and resource requirements.
•            Develop and maintain inventory management systems to ensure accurate stock levels across all locations, including internal facilities and external sites.
•            Monitor inventory levels to optimize production flow and minimize disruptions.
•            Analyze existing supply chain procedures and recommend improvements to drive efficiency and reduce costs.
•            Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain performance and identify areas for enhancement.
•            Create and implement policies aimed at improving supply chain operations, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
•            Evaluate transportation methods and warehouse distribution strategies to identify cost-effective, efficient solutions.
•            Assess material-handling processes and staffing requirements to ensure effective movement and storage of materials.
•            Support engineering changes, product line extensions, and new product launches by coordinating material flow and production timelines.
•            Participate in cross-functional initiatives to ensure seamless integration of supply chain processes with broader company goals.
•            Perform other duties as assigned to support overall supply chain performance.

Qualifications/Competencies
•            Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
•            Five or more years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
•            Ten or more years of experience in supply chain operations with a focus on logistics, planning, and distribution.
•            Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
•            Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across all organizational levels.
•            Proficiency in supply chain management software and systems.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, this team member is working within normal office conditions at a low to moderate noise level.  On occasion may need to perform some duties within the manufacturing area, additional PPE is required.
Working Hours
This is a full-time position and typical work hours, and days are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. and must work a least a 40-hour work week.  Weekend hours maybe required for special project work.  Department Managers or Supervisors establish weekend hours.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, this team member is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; talk or hear.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
