Temp Associate Scientist/Scientist I - Translational Medicine
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a motivated Temp Associate Scientist/Scientist I to join our Translational Medicine team. The selected candidate will play a vital role in supporting clinical biomarker leads in developing and implementing biomarker strategies for RAS(ON) inhibitor clinical trials. This role offers the chance to work in a collaborative and innovative environment, contributing to various ongoing clinical studies.

Collaborate with the Clinical Biomarker Lead, Biomarker Scientist and other Translational Medicine team members in Biomarker Operations and Clinical Bioinformatics to support the execution of biomarker strategies in early-phase RAS(ON) inhibitor clinical trials.

Conduct detailed review of clinically relevant documents for RAS(ON) inhibitor clinical trials to ensure rigorous validity of data accuracy and compliance with study protocol guidelines.

Work with Biomarker Operations and CROs to facilitate biomarker sample testing in various testing labs and provide timely updates on sample and data delivery metrics.

Maintain the inventory of biomarker samples to support study planning and biomarker data delivery for several clinical trials.

Perform quality control (QC) on study-related biomarker data and figures that lead to scientific presentations.

Perform basic analysis of biomarker data collected from clinical trials.
Required Skills, Experience and Education:

A Master or a Ph.D. degree in cancer biology, cell/ molecular biology or equivalent

Coordination skills for managing sample inventories, providing data metrics, and handling large datasets across multiple projects.

Excellent organizational abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and effective time management with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Excellent communication skills.

Proficient in GraphPad Prism and MS Office applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Proficient in quality control of scientific data and figures.

Thrive in detail-oriented tasks and fast-paced, team environments.
Preferred Skills:

Knowledge or experience in oncology drug development and precision medicine.

Capability to analyze literature for clinical and scientific insights, specifically focusing on identifying biomarkers for relevant targeted therapies.

Knowledge of clinically relevant biomarker approaches across a range of technology platforms (NGS, RNAseq, IHC, mIF, qPCR/ ddPCR, etc.)

Understanding of clinical trial design and biomarker integration.

Familiarity with bioinformatics tools (R or Python) and SQL database.
