Temp Sr Manager, Implementation and Learning Systems Program - Workday LMS and LinkedIn Learning
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Workday Learning and LinkedIn Learning Systems Implementation and Process Set-up Sr. Manager to join the Learning and Development team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the design, build, implementation, and set up of process of Workday LMS and LinkedIn Learning systems.
This will combine your hand-on subject matter expertise and deep configuration knowledge of Workday Learning and LinkedIn Learning systems implementation and process set-up (integrated into the Workday platform) to design the best possible system setup that supports our mission and core values. This will require you to think big and roll up your sleeves leveraging your in-depth knowledge and demonstrated experience with high growth, fast-paced organizations.
You will initially work in close partnership with our external Workday Implementation Consulting team and internal Implementation Workstream to set up system features in a cohesive and connected way across Workday HRIS, LMS and LinkedIn Learning. You will establish yourself as a LMS and LinkedIn Learning key subject matter expert and train business COEs, sub-administrators, and end users on the skills and knowledge needed to navigate the systems, overtime establishing a self-serve culture with key stakeholders. You will continuously find opportunities to improve and scale capabilities of the systems in alignment with growing business needs.
You will report directly to the Director of Learning and Development. This is a temporary position with the possibility of conversion to a full-time role after the initial 6-month period.
Specifically, you will be responsible for:
System Administration

Collaborate with stakeholders as a subject matter expert (SME) to analyze, develop, configure, optimize and manage Workday LMS and LinkedIn Learning processes with features such as user accounts, roles, and permissions within the system, incl. sub-admin access.

Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and present scalable LMS/LinkedIn Learning solutions that support the evolving business needs of our fast-growing organization

Establish a regular exchange cadence with LMS and LinkedIn Learning vendors to learn about new features and system changes and to ensure that systems are compliant with company system security standards and security controls are in place.

Perform system upgrades, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and provide timely resolution to ensure uninterrupted access to the systems

Create, edit, organize, upload, and maintain training items (incl. SCORM/WBT and VLT) incl. videos, assessments, curriculums, libraries, and assignment profiles.

Curate and maintain Learning Paths leveraging company-specific and external content such as LinkedIn Learning

Create and manage reports including automated reports for self-serve of Business COEs

Establish cadences to distribute reports to appropriate stakeholders

Audit data discrepancies between multiple HR systems and correct data in Workday Learning and LinkedIn Learning

Educate our HR/L&D teams and cross-functional partners on the systems including core LMS and LinkedIn Learning modules, system changes, and future enhancements

Teach training sub-admins how to do create, edit, organize, upload, and maintain training items and how to run, save, and/or schedule reports

Provide LMS and LinkedIn Learning product capability consultation for content teams

Create and maintain training procedure manuals and guides

Communicate system changes/updates in a timely manner to impacted parties and process owners

Bachelor’s degree
-
4-6+ years with strong, hands-on Workday and LinkedIn Learning system configuration and system implementation and process set-up experience

Experience with course designs and learning content authoring tools like Adobe Captivate, Articulate 360, Camtasia

Strong, professional written and verbal communication skills, highly collaborative approach

Able to work strategically to manage competing priorities and projects and support effective decision-making

Experience developing training plans and materials to enable others on system usage and work with stakeholders at all levels

Experience with loading connectors, importing tools, VLS integrations, OTC integrations, API integrations, editing & managing notifications, and updating security roles and domains

Experience with deploying regular updates to large-scale enterprise audiences

Working experience with incident management tools

Experience implementing LinkedIn Learning and Workday and developing launch training plans is preferred

Experienced in building content and learning paths customized to competency framework and learning needs

Implementation and knowledge of APIs including integration with third-party training providers (i.e., GxP platforms like Veeva, Emtrain, ComplianceWire, KnowB4) is a plus
