Job Description:
The US Medical Affairs Operations and Planning Specialist will require excellent communication and basic understanding of contract management.
Essential Functions
• Support end-to-end operational support for USMA vendor management, including contract initiation/execution.
• Support operational activities for HCP/HCO engagements with USMA, including end-to-end consulting agreement initiation/execution.
• Collaborate with USMA Operations and Planning team to implement new systems/process or projects and provide project management support to high-priority projects within USMA.
• Collaborate with internal partners to identify, build, and maintain detailed trackers, dashboards, and reports for key USMA projects/initiatives.
• Support maintenance of cloud-based filing structure for team documents.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Basic understanding of Medical Affairs function and operational support, with at least 2 years of experience within Medical Affairs preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced competency and experience with a variety of digital applications, including Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint), project management tools, and contracting systems.
• Excellent ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple competing assignments and responsibilities; project management experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and collaborate with team members and leadership teams.
Required/Preferred Education and Licenses
Bachelors’ degree in the life sciences or in a related field.
