Target PR Range: 42-54/hr
*Depending on experience

Description:

The Vendor Outsourcing Associate II is responsible for supporting various activities and projects within the Vendor Outsourcing organization mainly for Clinical Trial / Operations Outsourcing.

The following tasks will be the main focus of the Associate II position (lead and/or assist):
  • contract execution, review, management, routing and quality control
  • management of MSAs, WOs, COs, LOAs, LOI, CDAs and other contracts for the Contract Research Organizations (CROs)
  • execution of market engagements (RFx, Bid Defense Meetings, Vendor Selection Meetings etc.)
  • new supplier setup and supplier updates in ERP
  • data entry of supplier and contract information (such as contractual and financial data) into systems
  • researching and resolving vendor invoice and payment inquiries and issues
  • reviewing and analyzing of vendor proposals
  • project support for various initiatives including M&A, simplification etc.
  • strategy development and implementation support

The ideal candidate should have/be:
  • clinical development process and scientific environment expertise and experience
  • legal experience (JD, Legal Counsel, Legal Administrator) or relevant experience in working with contracts and legal matters
  • proficiency in legal language, contract structure and format
  • excellent communication skills
  • comfortable interacting with internal and external teams and business partners (such as clinical operations, clinical research, finance, account payable, purchasing, and potentially legal and business conduct)
  • project management/support experience
  • ability to comply with specific processes in a regulated environment
  • ability to complete tasks and projects under minimal supervision
  • ability to manage competing priorities effectively and proficiently
  • structured and organized
  • critical thinking and self-organization
  • strong work ethic
  • Bachelors degree is a must
  • Industry experience highly desired
