Senior DevOps Engineer / DevOps Developer (CI/CD & Cloud)
Location: Bengaluru (Hybrid – 1-3 days onsite)
Overview
We are hiring 2x Senior DevOps Engineers to support large-scale enterprise platforms, with a focus on CI/CD pipeline development, cloud infrastructure, and automation. This is a hands-on role with end-to-end ownership across design, deployment, and operational support.
Key Responsibilities
DevOps & CI/CD
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Python and Node.js services
- Automate build, testing, security scanning, and deployment workflows
- Standardise pipelines to improve scalability and reliability
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and configuration management
Cloud & Platform Engineering
- Build and manage cloud-native environments (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Containerise applications using Docker and manage deployments via Kubernetes
- Optimise performance, cost, and scalability across cloud infrastructure
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks
System Design & Reliability
- Collaborate with engineering teams on scalable system design
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
- Implement security best practices across cloud and container environments
- Improve system resilience and deployment stability
Quality & Governance
- Enforce code quality and pipeline standards
- Support design and code reviews from a DevOps perspective
- Implement deployment strategies (blue/green, canary, rollback)
Collaboration & Leadership
- Work cross-functionally with development, QA, and product teams
- Lead DevOps initiatives and proof-of-concepts
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices
Production Support
- Troubleshoot incidents and perform root cause analysis
- Drive continuous improvement based on production insights
Key Requirements
Technical Skills
- Strong experience with Python and Node.js
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and automation
- Understanding of cloud security best practices
Systems & Data
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalability
Experience
- 4-7+ years in DevOps or Software Engineering
- Proven ownership of technical initiatives
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Comfortable in fast-paced, production environments
Education
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
