Job Description

This role supports new equipment and process development, implementation, and verification/validation activities. Responsibilities also include refining and troubleshooting existing processes, designing and fabricating tools and fixtures, and supporting R&D prototype development.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of manufacturing and/or engineering experience
  • Knowledge of GD&T, manufacturing processes, and inspection techniques
  • Experience with prototype, fixture, and tool fabrication
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, email, internet)

Responsibilities

  • Support development, testing, and implementation of manufacturing processes (new and existing)
  • Execute tasks related to engineering projects of limited scope
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process issues and implement solutions
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality Control, and Quality Assurance to ensure consistent output
  • Design and develop tools, fixtures, and gauges to support manufacturing
  • Fabricate prototypes for product development
  • Assemble equipment based on instructions and mechanical/electrical drawings
