Job Description
Pharmacy Supervisor – Clinical Research
Join a growing clinical research unit as a Pharmacy Supervisor, leading on?site pharmacy operations and ensuring safe, compliant management of investigational products across early-phase studies.
What you’ll do
-
Lead and support the pharmacy operations team, fostering a positive, high-performance environment.

Oversee investigational product management including receipt, storage, temperature control, accountability, dispensing, and destruction.

Prepare sterile and non-sterile investigational products as required.

Maintain controlled-substance licensing and ensure compliance with regulatory and procedural standards.

Provide clinical trial pharmacy guidance on dosing, interactions, administration, and storage.

Manage stock, ordering, and supply readiness for all study activities.

Train staff in IP handling, dispensing, and documentation.

Participate in protocol review, study start-up, audits, and process improvement initiatives.

Support project timelines through effective rostering and resource allocation.

Act as an escalation point for temperature-controlled assets and pharmacy access.
What you bring
-
Registered Pharmacist (AHPRA) with 3+ years’ experience.

Strong communication skills and high attention to detail.
-
Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Solid computer literacy and reliable documentation practices.
-
Comfortable working independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
Nice to have
-
Experience in clinical trial or Phase I pharmacy.

Knowledge of GMP and TGA requirements.

Compounding, aseptic technique, or clean-room experience.
