What You Will Do:
- Develop and execute comprehensive market access plans to ensure optimal patient access for our products in Belgium.
- Conduct detailed market research, evaluating competitors, pricing trends, and reimbursement policies across the healthcare landscape.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with medical, marketing, and regulatory teams to align strategies with commercial objectives.
- Foster and maintain strategic relationships with external stakeholders, including reimbursement authorities.
- Prepare and submit market access dossiers in compliance with regulatory requirements, supporting reimbursement negotiations and product listings through persuasive evidence-based materials.
- Monitor market access performance metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Provide training and strategic guidance to internal teams on market access principles.
- Represent our client in industry forums and advocacy groups to stay ahead of market developments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, economics, business, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in market access, reimbursement, or similar roles within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare systems, payer landscapes, and reimbursement processes across European markets.
- Proven ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication skills in Dutch, French, and English.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and thrive in a collaborative environment.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working on biosimilars or generics.
- Familiarity with Belgian healthcare and reimbursement policies.
- Existing network of healthcare and industry stakeholders in Belgium.
- Additional language skills or international market exposure.
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Advanced degree (e.g., Master’s) in a relevant field is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in market access or reimbursement roles within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors.
Other Requirements:
- This role is based in Brussels.
- Immediate start preferred, with contract until 31/12/2026.
