Job Description

Process Engineer (2 Openings) – Aseptic Fill/Finish

Location: Bradley, IL (On-site, 5 days/week)
Contract: 12-month contract (potential for extension)

Overview

We are seeking two experienced Process Engineers to support the expansion of aseptic fill/finish operations. These roles will play a critical part in the design, implementation, setup, and startup of new process equipment supporting fill lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the addition and startup of new aseptic filling lines and associated equipment
  • Lead and contribute to design, implementation, and commissioning of process systems
  • Establish and optimize equipment recipes and process parameters
  • Collaborate closely with qualification engineers during equipment qualification activities
  • Provide hands-on support during equipment startup and ramp-up
  • Train operations and maintenance teams on proper equipment use and upkeep
  • Ensure effective knowledge transfer at project closeout

Equipment Scope

  • Aseptic fill/finish lines (new fillers)
  • Parts washers 
  • Autoclaves 
  • Stopper processing units
  • Semi-automated inspection lines 
  • Container integrity testing systems 
  • Bulk tanks supplying product to the lines

Required Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in process engineering within fill/finish environments
  • Demonstrated experience in:
    • Equipment design and implementation
    • Equipment setup and startup
    • Recipe development and process configuration
  • Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, including qualification/validation
  • Must have design experience (candidates with only CQV/validation backgrounds will not be considered)
