Do you thrive on building influential relationships and pioneering innovative solutions that accelerate product uptake and improve patient outcomes? If so, this is your chance to join a dynamic team dedicated to shaping healthcare access at a strategic level.

We are seeking a highly motivated Market Access Manager to represent our organisation within the UK’s complex health system. In this fully remote role, you will lead initiatives to facilitate NICE reimbursement, engage with Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), and develop collaborative strategies to optimise access to our medicines. Your expertise will directly impact how therapies are delivered and accessed across the NHS, making a real difference in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize access and commercial success across designated assets.
  • Map and analyse current service provision, identifying opportunities for improved service readiness.
  • Engage proactively with ICBs, commissioners, and other senior stakeholders to facilitate information transfer and influence decision-making.
  • Lead the development of innovative, value-based solutions and strategic collaborations with NHS organisations.
  • Ensure activities are compliant with company policies and industry regulations, including ABPI codes.
  • Drive service readiness, aiming for all sites to be prescribing within 90 days post-NICE reimbursement, with key targets met for service criteria.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in field-based market access or key account management within the NHS landscape.
  • Demonstrable expertise in engaging with ICBs, commissioners, and other senior healthcare stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of health policy, patient pathways, and service readiness.
  • Ability to map, analyse, and develop strategic engagement plans.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to challenge existing approaches and think creatively.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
  • Track record of successfully delivering strategic collaborations and tactical plans.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with NHS service development and commissioning strategies.
  • Knowledge of health systems prioritization, policies, and emerging trends.
  • Background in developing policies or influencing national healthcare levers.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to align brand and customer strategies.

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • A university degree in life sciences, healthcare management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in market access, healthcare consultancy, or senior NHS stakeholder engagement.
  • Recent exposure to ICB or NHS commissioning environments.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work remotely within the UK, with some flexibility for meetings or site visits as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all industry standards, including ABPI codes and company SOPs.

Embark on a strategic journey that influences healthcare delivery and patient outcomes by applying today. If you are driven to make an impactful difference in the UK health system, we want to hear from you!
