Business Process Analyst
Job Description
Target PR Range: 36.25-45.00/hr DOE
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Business Process Analyst is a hands?on supply chain role supporting clinical laboratory operations through coordination of material flow, shipment tracking, and resolution of supply issues. The role focuses on ensuring materials are available to support operations by monitoring order status, expediting when needed, and partnering closely with cross?functional teams. This position works with Planning, Inventory, Logistics, Quality, and Finance to support projects such as cost?saving initiatives, maintain accurate material data, and ensure alignment with clinical laboratory procedures and CLIA/CAP standards. Requires 2-5 years of supply chain?related experience; procurement experience is preferred. SAP/ERP experience is a plus.
- Support daily supply chain execution for ILS laboratory operations to ensure timely material availability
- Coordinate projects such as cost?saving initiatives with process owners and cross?functional stakeholders
- Collaborate with ILS Quality to support updates to supply chain and quality?related documentation
- Resolve purchasing, receiving, and invoice discrepancies with Accounts Payable and Receiving teams
- Maintain material master data and follow up with stakeholders to ensure change requests are completed on schedule in the ILS quality system
- Support ILS specific material ordering activities as part of overall supply chain operations, monitoring order status and coordinating follow?up as needed
- Expedite open orders as needed by confirming order status, following up on delays, and escalating issues
- Monitor and track inbound patient samples, coordinating with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to resolve delivery issues
- Communicate material status, delivery risks, and supply constraints to Planning, Inventory, and Operations teams
- Support day?to?day supply chain activities in alignment with clinical laboratory procedures and CLIA/CAP standards
- Perform other ILS supply chain tasks as needed
- Individual responsibilities may change based on business needs
