Systems Engineer – On-Market Support
Job Description
-
Applies intensive and diversified knowledge of design principles, practices and implementation in complex systems and assignments.
- General responsibilities include design concept generation, participating in design reviews, development and testing to assess performance against design specification; reliability testing, and assessment of system interactions.
- Makes independent decisions.
- Assists in the development of manufacturing processes and troubleshooting issues to determine root cause and possible engineering solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Test Method Development, DoE, data analysis (python coding capability)
- Digital outputs of a sensor and analyze the data
- Test bed development
- Troubleshooting skills
- Developing comprehensive testing plans.
- Executing hands-on testing protocols
- Authoring detailed technical reports.
- Managing the defect lifecycle (collection, documentation, and summarization for our development partner).
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
- Risk and requirements management experience
- Solid technical writing skills (e.g., protocols, reports, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience with complex electro-mechanical systems
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Chemical, Biomedical, or Software preferred)
- Years of Experience: 4 yrs+
- Experience in a FDA or FAA regulated environment is a strong plus; Medical device industry is ideal
Interview Notes:
- Interviews will be conducted virtualy – 2 rounds (Individual and panel)
Pay Rate Range: $40-50/hr depending on experience
