Senior Scientist – Immunoassay
Job Description
Are you passionate about making a real impact in biotech and drug development? We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic Senior Scientist to lead and innovate within our expanding immunoassay division. Based in Cambridgeshire, you’ll play a key role in developing and validating cutting-edge immunoassays that support groundbreaking pharmaceutical projects worldwide.
Your expertise will help design robust pre-clinical and clinical analytical methods, ensuring high-quality results in compliance with GLP and GCP standards. As a team leader, you’ll mentor scientists, build strong customer partnerships, and make scientifically sound decisions aligned with FDA guidelines.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in biological science or related experience, with proven skills in immunogenicity assay development–especially with MSD and Gyrolab platforms. Familiarity with M10, FDA regulations, and sample pretreatment strategies (SPEAD, ACE) is a plus. Strong communication, attention to detail, and a proactive approach are essential.
Preferred candidates will possess experience in a GXP environment and familiarity with automation tools like Hamilton. We welcome candidates requiring visa sponsorship, and relocation support.
