Medical Educator
The Medical Educator should possess a scientific, clinical, healthcare, or pharmaceutical background and demonstrate the ability to communicate clinical evidence credibly to healthcare professionals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Scientific Data Dissemination
* Deliver approved scientific presentations.
* Communicate approved data related to study design, methodology, endpoints,
and outcomes.
* Disseminate approved publications, congress presentations, posters, and scientific
resources.
* Healthcare Professional Education
* Conduct one-on-one scientific education visits with healthcare professionals.
* Facilitate virtual and face-to-face educational discussions and presentations.
* Deliver basic disease-state education related to Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency.
* Support awareness of augmentation therapy and patient identification opportunities.
Stakeholder Engagement
* Engage defined academic and community-based pulmonary practices.
* Support educational outreach initiatives identified by Medical Affairs leadership.
Medical Affairs Collaboration
* Partner closely with client Medical Affairs leadership and the regionally aligned MSL.
* Identify engagements requiring deeper scientific exchange and refer them to the
appropriate client Medical Affairs representative.
* Coordinate with client MSLs and field leaders to support complementary outreach and
appropriate escalation.
Compliance & Documentation
* Conduct all activities in accordance with applicable regulations and company policies.
* Complete timely and accurate activity documentation.
* Successfully complete all required training and certification programs.
* Report adverse events or product complaints following established policies and
procedures.
Field Alignment
* Educators will coordinate with existing U.S. Field Leadership to engage defined pulmonary HCPs, key prescribers, and stakeholders across priority territories.
* Engagement planning will coordinate educator activity with existing field medical coverage to support complementary outreach and minimize overlap.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, respiratory therapy, pharmaceutical sciences, biology, public health, life sciences, healthcare, or a related field.
- Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, DNP) and/or clinical credentials (RN, RRT, APRT) strongly preferred.
- Clinical experience in pulmonology or direct experience providing pulmonology-related education strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of healthcare, pharmaceutical, clinical education, clinical research, or related experience.
- Willingness to travel up to 80%
