Area Sales Manager – Sydney – TAVI
Job Description
A leading medical technology organisation is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive growth and market development across Sydney within its Structural Heart portfolio, with a particular focus on Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI).
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven medical device sales professional who enjoys working in a highly specialised clinical environment and partnering with interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons and multidisciplinary heart teams to improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and market share across the Sydney territory for the TAVI portfolio
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, cath lab teams and key hospital stakeholders
- Identify and convert new business opportunities within existing and emerging structural heart accounts
- Provide clinical and procedural support during TAVI cases
- Develop and execute strategic territory plans to achieve and exceed sales objectives
- Work closely with clinical, marketing and leadership teams to support product adoption and account development
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to identify growth opportunities
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience selling TAVI devices within the Australian market
- Recent hands on TAVI experience gained within the last 12 months
- Strong understanding of structural heart therapies and catheter based procedures
- Experience supporting cases within cath lab and operating theatre environments
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong relationship building, influencing and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially minded with excellent presentation and communication abilities
- Full Australian working rights and willingness to travel across New South Wales as required
