Risk Coordinator
Job Description
Contract l 9 months l full-time
We are seeking an experienced Risk Coordinator to support a large scale pharmaceutical manufacturing project during commissioning, qualification and start up activities. This role will focus on driving safe execution across site operations, ensuring robust risk management processes and supporting a strong safety culture within a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate risk assessments across multiple project workstreams.
- Review RAMS, method statements and safe systems of work, providing technical EHS guidance.
- Support construction, commissioning and qualification teams in identifying, assessing and mitigating operational and process safety risks.
- Ensure effective implementation of Control of Work processes, including Permit to Work and LOTO requirements.
- Participate in daily coordination activities and provide EHS input to project planning and execution.
- Promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with site standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor the quality and completion of risk management documentation.
- Collaborate closely with project stakeholders to support safe delivery of high risk activities.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within EHS, risk management, commissioning, CQV, start up or pharmaceutical project environments.
- Strong background in risk assessment facilitation, hazard identification, risk mitigation and Process Safety Management.
- Hands on experience with Control of Work systems, including Permit to Work, LOTO and safe systems of work.
- Previous experience supporting multidisciplinary construction, commissioning, qualification or turnover teams.
- Good understanding of GMP regulated environments and pharmaceutical project requirements.
- Degree in Environmental, Health & Safety or a related discipline.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and safety leadership skills
