Job Description
The Process Dev Engineering Scientific Associate will be part of a team responsible for process development and optimization, as well as characterization of cell product for ongoing and future projects.
Thursday - Monday Shift
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Support cell banking process optimization including cell thaw, 2D cell culture expansion, and cell banking.
· Conduct experiments, characterization and data analyses in support of process characterization and improvement
· Work with cross-functional teams to plan, coordinate, and execute experiments.
· Utilize understanding of principles of molecular and cell biology techniques when troubleshooting typical problems
· Applies statistical principles to guide process optimization
· Supports technical reports, regulatory filings, and source documents.
• Present findings to the group for data sharing.
Knowledge and Skills:
· Good communication skills to communicate technical/scientific information within a team.
· Effective at working as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
· Typically requires 0-2 years’ experience with a bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Must have hands-on experience on stem cell culture and differentiation, good understanding of aseptic cell culture technique, and familiarity with analytical methods in cell and molecular biology.
· Hands-on experience on bioreactor and automation operation is desirable.
· Must possess critical thinking, self-reliance to solve tasks independently, and a willingness to ask questions.
· Must have outstanding organizational and multitasking capabilities.
