Job Description


As a Laboratory Operations Technician II, you will be a vital part of our laboratory team, ensuring smooth operations and efficient processes. Your responsibilities will encompass both inventory management and direct support for laboratory activities. This role requires keen attention to detail, physical stamina, and effective communication skills. Duties and Responsibilities In this role, you will perform the following tasks:

Laboratory Glassware:
  • Gathering laboratory glassware from various work areas.
  • Use industrial dishwashers to thoroughly clean and sanitize the laboratory glassware.
  • Ensure proper labeling and handling of the collected glassware.
  • Return the cleaned glassware to their respective laboratory areas promptly.

Sample Management and Collaboration:
  • Receive samples into the Research and Development (R&D) sample inventory.
  • Pull daily samples for testing by the laboratories.
  • Properly dispose of bulk samples according to guidelines at the end of testing protocols.
  • Attention to detail and accurate record keeping
  • Communicate effectively with the Laboratory Operations staff to ensure seamless daily operations.

Project Work:
  • Independently or with minimal support, undertake project work to support area goals or improvements.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Document and report on project progress and outcomes.

Qualifications To excel in this position, you should possess:

Attention to Detail: Accurate record keeping and handling of samples, glassware, and equipment is crucial.

Physical Strength: Some tasks may involve lifting or moving heavy glassware or sample trays.

Effective Communication Skills: Clear communication with colleagues and inventory staff is essential. Education and Experience

Degree at the Associate or Bachelor level is required. 1+ years of experience in a similar role is required.

Pay ranges between $18-21/hr based on experience
