We are seeking a market access & account management professional with experience across medical device market access, partnerships, and contracting with healthcare insurers or distributors. This is a 40 hour/week contractor position.
Key Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience in market access & account management roles working with medical device manufacturers
• Demonstrated success developing and managing partnerships and negotiating optimal contracting health insurance plans and health distributors/administrators for innovative technologies
• Familiarity with FDA-regulated and OTC technologies/services
• Excellent verbal and written communication, stakeholder management skills, and ability to navigate complex healthcare organizations
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution
• Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in complex and ambiguous environments
• Existing relationships with US health insurers or HSA/FSA administrators is a plus
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree with industry experience required.
Description
• Identify target partners for various programs
• Engage and navigate partner organizations such as insurers and distributors to identify appropriate executive stakeholders, working team members, and others that influence efforts
• Cultivate positive relationships and be the point of contact for partners.
• Project manage across partnership and contracting efforts with health insurers and distributors including managing timelines, project status, creating and gaining consensus on project deliverables, scheduling and managing meetings, identifying partnership goals and next steps, and driving execution
• Meet goals set out by managers to secure coverage and reimbursement expansion in established timeframe, sharing updates and opportunities in a transparent and organized way
• Help design and implement strategy to support US commercial success
• Own executive level meetings including developing agenda, meeting materials, and slide decks
• Stay apprised of and maintain compliance with relevant market access, reimbursement and contracting regulations, guidelines and policies
