Commercial Operations Analyst (Part-Time)

Job Description
Summary:
The Commercial Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting key operational processes related to the onboarding and offboarding of sales representatives. This includes coordination with third-party vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely setup and removal of resources tied to commercial operations onboarding and offboarding of field personnel, including speaker programs, fleet, and sampling activities as well as credentialing & jurisdiction. The role also oversees the return and retrieval of company samples and fleet vehicles, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
Essential Functions:
Sales Force Onboarding/Offboarding
- Coordinate the setup and delivery of fleet vehicles or rentals, including logistics with third-party vendors and securing sample storage units when needed.
- Partner with vendors to provide access to systems supporting sampling, speaker programs, credentialling and jurisdiction and fleet activities.
- Schedule vehicle retrievals and manage logistics for offboarding through third-party vendors.
- Assist with sample transfers and deliveries following product certification, when applicable.
- Oversee the return or transfer of company samples, escalating non-compliance or lack of response to the Commercial Operations Compliance Manager.
- Maintain onboarding/offboarding checklists and documentation to ensure consistency and audit readiness.
Operational Support & Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve onboarding/offboarding workflows and vendor coordination.
- Collaborate with Commercial Operations team members and Compliance.
- Support ad hoc projects related to fleet, sampling, and speaker program logistics.
- Provide support for other Commercial Operations initiatives as needed.
Reporting & Documentation
- Track onboarding/offboarding metrics and provide regular updates to Commercial Operations leadership.
- Maintain accurate records of sample inventory, fleet assignments, and program access.
- Generate reports to support compliance reviews and operational audits.
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical operations or compliance.
- Experience with onboarding/offboarding sales representatives or a strong understanding of the process.
- Strong project coordination skills, including managing timelines, vendors, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Clear, professional communication – both written and verbal – with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Highly organized and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage priorities independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, outlook)
- Experience working with third-party vendors and cross-functional teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or a related field.
- Experience with Veeva and systems.
- Strong understanding of industry regulations including PhRMA Code, Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, and federal/state transparency laws.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
