Exciting Opportunity: RWD Database Analyst-Programmer
Are you a seasoned data specialist with a passion for Real World Evidence and healthcare analytics? Join our dynamic team as a RWD Database Analyst-Programmer and play a pivotal role in shaping healthcare insights through advanced data analysis. This remote, Europe-based position offers the chance to work on impactful projects within a collaborative environment, supporting innovative therapies and driving decisions that matter.
What You'll Do:
- Analyze internal therapy data sources, including claims data, registry data, and electronic health records to support current and future compounds.
- Collaborate closely with RWE colleagues to deliver actionable insights.
- Execute data requests with precision, utilizing your expertise in large healthcare databases.
Required Skills:
- Over 5 years of SAS programming experience.
- At least 2 years of experience working within Real World Evidence, Epidemiology, or Health Outcomes environments.
- Proven expertise with large healthcare databases such as CPRD (UK data) or Merative MarketScan (US data).
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret complex datasets.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working with cross-functional teams across different regions.
- Familiarity with VDI environments and working independently in a remote setting.
- Additional knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements or data privacy standards.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Life Sciences, Public Health, Biostatistics, or related fields.
- Demonstrated success in similar roles with a minimum of 5 years in data analysis or programming within healthcare settings.
Other Requirements:
- Must have own laptop and be comfortable working in a VDI environment, as equipment will not be provided.
- The role is home-based in Europe, excluding the UK, Germany, and the Netherlands.
- Availability to start ASAP
