Job Description
Our client, a leading organization in the life sciences sector, is seeking a Senior Investigator Grants Associate to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with complex financial data in support of clinical trials.
About the Role
As a Senior Investigator Grants Associate, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely site payments, supporting both the Project and Finance Teams. You’ll be responsible for managing financial workflows, interpreting Clinical Trial Agreements, and maintaining meticulous records—all while contributing to the success of global clinical research projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and track site payments based on CTAs
- Maintain advance balance tracking across projects
- Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure accurate payment processing
- Prepare payment packages and facilitate approvals
- Support compliance reporting (Aggregate Spend, MMSE)
- Reconcile site payments and manage the investigator grants mailbox
- Mentor junior team members and support ad hoc financial tasks
- Communicate with sites and clients to resolve inquiries
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of clinical research experience
- Prior global accounts payable experience
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical and Excel skills (Intermediate to Advanced)
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
- Detail-oriented, process-driven, and proactive
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred:
- Senior-level experience in investigator payments
- Exposure to investigator contracts and budgets
