Job Description


Set Rate: 19/hr

Seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Material Coordinator 2 to join our shipping warehouse team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accurate and timely movement of materials to support global genomics operations. You will be responsible for outbound shipments, material transactions, documentation, and compliance with shipping regulations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Responsibilities

  • Perform all aspects of outbound material coordination, including picking, packing, labeling, and shipping finished goods, consumables, and instruments.

  • Prepare domestic and international shipments in compliance with DOT, IATA, and company-specific regulations.

  • Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.) in accordance with safety guidelines.

  • Use ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and shipping software (FedEx, UPS, DHL) to process transactions accurately.

  • Maintain shipping documentation and records in alignment with ISO, FDA, and cGMP standards.

  • Coordinate with logistics, customer service, and manufacturing teams to meet shipping deadlines and resolve issues.

  • Support cycle counts, inventory audits, and continuous improvement activities.

  • Ensure workspace cleanliness and compliance with 5S and EHS requirements.
Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or relevant coursework preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics environment.

  • Working knowledge of ERP systems and warehouse management software.

  • Understanding of international shipping documentation and customs requirements is a plus.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.

  • Forklift certification preferred.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a regulated industry (biotech, medical devices, pharma).

  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement principles.

  • Previous experience with cold chain shipping is a plus.
