Required Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Business, Public Health, or a related field
  • 1–3+ years of experience in reimbursement, patient access, or revenue cycle management within the healthcare industry
  • Proven familiarity with reimbursement codes (HCPCS, CPT, ICD-10) and payer policies
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and identify trends
  • Experience with reimbursement analytics tools and revenue cycle management (RCM) systems
  • Excellent communication skills for clear stakeholder engagement and reporting
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience supporting products through pre-commercial to commercial launch in biotech or startup settings
  • Knowledge of third-party HUBs, hospital systems, and patient support programs
  • Familiarity with claims data analysis and payer adjudication processes
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • 2+ years of healthcare experience, particularly within startups or early-stage companies
  • Demonstrated success in reimbursement or revenue cycle roles supporting innovative healthcare products

Other Requirements:
  • Onsite presence in Chicago, IL (5 days per week)
  • Ability to stay updated on payer coverage changes, CMS guidelines, and coding updates
  • Capability to utilize data visualization tools like Excel and Tableau
