Manufacturing Technician I

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Technician 1 (Contractor) to support hands-on production in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for candidates who can quickly ramp up, follow written procedures precisely, and consistently deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform assigned manufacturing and production tasks per approved work instructions
- Execute work orders and complete production documentation accurately
- Maintain compliance with GMP, safety, and quality system requirements
- Perform line clearances and in-process quality checks
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area (6S)
- Identify and escalate quality issues, equipment problems, or discrepancies
- Support team production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or laboratory environments
- Experience working in GMP or quality-controlled environments preferred
- Ability to follow detailed written instructions with strong attention to detail
- Basic troubleshooting and documentation skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with regulated manufacturing or life sciences production
- Experience with batch records, work orders, or controlled documentation
- Ability to work independently on routine tasks after training
- Comfortable working in a team-based, fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Ability to lift materials per safety guidelines
- Flexibility to work assigned shifts and occasional overtime
