Job Description
Target Pay Rate: 85-95/hr
**salary will be commensurate with experience
• Required:
BA/BS in Marketing, Marketing Research, Psychology, Data Science or Related Field
• Preferred:
?Master's in Business, Marketing Research, or Related Field MBA/MA/MS/MMR
Required Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of Market Research experience either on the client or the supplier side or in related functions including Sales, Marketing, Marketing/Sales Operations.
• Knowledge/understanding of the US healthcare environment and the ability to learn quickly about different therapy areas
• Possesses analytical skills and the ability to think about business issues and relate them to creating market research and insights
• Knowledge of Market Research methods and secondary data sources and the interest in learning more
• Orientation toward collaboration/teamwork, ability to lead teams in execution of Market Research and interest in ongoing learning and development
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Experience:
• Experience with Health Care Consumer and Health Care Practitioner research
• Experience with Buy and Bill products a plus Desired Capabilities
• Leverage an understanding of market research and marketing in synthesizing research insights
• Collaboratively partners with the market research team lead and analytics colleagues as well as franchise clients to develop and apply research insights that will influence marketing strategy and identify opportunities.
• This position is responsible for understanding the clients’ business challenges and for managing market research to guide the choices and decisions faced by the business.
• Interact with multiple internal and external groups to influence decision making at a brand level and proactively identify opportunities to grow the business.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and to deal well with ambiguity as well as seek input and collaboration with the manager and the broader research and analytics team when needed
• Has experience and understanding of various research options to fit with the needs of the business.
Primary responsibilities include:
• Developing and executing market research for the portfolio, including timeline and budget.
• Communicating with and aligning a wide range of internal stakeholders and external agencies on the objectives and to execute research and align around the findings and recommendations.
• Manages all aspects of primary market research.
• Collaborates with business stakeholders to understand and inform the business challenges and information needs, considers alternative methods, and proposes appropriate method, asking for input from team members when needed.
• Applies best practices and innovative techniques to create the most valuable and actionable output.
• Synthesizes results and creates an overall story about key findings and recommends appropriate actions.
• Engages stakeholders in discussion of recommendations and appropriate actions to positively impact the business.
• Works with the research and analytics team members to design complex analyses using available secondary data, syndicated reports and databases and integrates findings into primary market research efforts to tell and evolve the brand story.
