Senior Software Engineer

What you will bring to the table:
- Strong expertise in WebRTC live video streaming development
- Proficiency with software video pipelines such as GStreamer and/or FFmpeg
- Exceptional C++ development skills (C++11 or higher), including multi-threading, inter-process communication, and performance tuning
- Proven ability to produce clear, maintainable, and well-documented code
- A self-motivated mindset capable of managing projects from inception through to deployment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Additional skills that would set you apart:
- Experience embedding Vonage (TokBox) Video API/SDK into native applications
- Knowledge of telemetry ingestion and analysis tools like OpenSearch for distributed systems
- Familiarity with C++23 standards
- Understanding of video compression codecs such as H.264/AVC, H.265/HEVC, or VP9
- Strong background working in Linux environments and utilizing related tooling
Preferred educational background and experience:
- Relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Significant professional experience (ideally 5+ years) in video streaming, multimedia software, or related specialties
Additional requirements:
- Ability to work onsite in London, UK, with a hybrid schedule (2 days per week on-site)
- Immediate availability is preferred to start as soon as possible
