Senior Software Engineer

What you will bring to the table:
  • Strong expertise in WebRTC live video streaming development
  • Proficiency with software video pipelines such as GStreamer and/or FFmpeg
  • Exceptional C++ development skills (C++11 or higher), including multi-threading, inter-process communication, and performance tuning
  • Proven ability to produce clear, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • A self-motivated mindset capable of managing projects from inception through to deployment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Additional skills that would set you apart:
  • Experience embedding Vonage (TokBox) Video API/SDK into native applications
  • Knowledge of telemetry ingestion and analysis tools like OpenSearch for distributed systems
  • Familiarity with C++23 standards
  • Understanding of video compression codecs such as H.264/AVC, H.265/HEVC, or VP9
  • Strong background working in Linux environments and utilizing related tooling

Preferred educational background and experience:
  • Relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Significant professional experience (ideally 5+ years) in video streaming, multimedia software, or related specialties

Additional requirements:
  • Ability to work onsite in London, UK, with a hybrid schedule (2 days per week on-site)
  • Immediate availability is preferred to start as soon as possible
