Talent Acquisition Consultant
Under the general guidance and counsel of the Talent Acquisition Leader, the Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant will be responsible for full life cycle recruitment for all roles across the United States. This is a hands-on full life cycle recruitment role. This role: (a) drives the full talent acquisition process, leveraging industry best practices in processes, tools, and analysis; (b) develops and implements recruitment plans and resourcing to meet the hiring plan and needs of the business; and (c) leads process improvement projects.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Builds strong relationships with HR Business Partners and Business Leaders to understand the business needs and sell the “Lundbeck” story to potential candidates.
- Provides recruitment leadership, requisition management, strategy, and customer service to hiring management by providing consultation to hiring managers on all staffing related issues.
- Develops and implements sourcing and recruiting plans consistent with Lundbeck’s recruiting brand to meet business objectives which adhere to business objectives, goals and metrics.
- Executes the recruitment strategy by identifying and sourcing the appropriate talent for open positions including phone screening, interviewing, offer development and negotiation, and closing/offer acceptances through the on-boarding stage.
- Conducts face to face interviews for home-based positions to present an overview on Lundbeck and company benefits. Leads debrief meetings to collect feedback and facilitate constructive discussion that help influence in the hiring decision making process.
- Manages relationships with key recruiting vendors.
- Ensures compliance to state/federal employment laws and company policies and practices for applicant tracking compliance and reporting metrics.
- Builds internal and external networks through multiple channels, including attending relevant external meetings/conferences to meet and assess talent.
- Assists with sales expansions and hiring events/fairs.
- Under supervision/guidance of the Talent Acquisition leader, participates in and leads process improvement projects.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and SKILLS:
- Accredited Bachelor’s Degree.
- 7+ years of full life cycle recruitment experience
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Strong communicator with ability to influence and persuade across all levels of the organization, exercising a high degree of confidentiality, professionalism, poise, tact and diplomacy to accomplish objectives.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communications competencies.
- Strong business presence and ability to instill confidence in clients as part of delivering results.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of basic employment law, OFCCP and HR practices.
- Project management, organizational and multi-tasking skills with strong attention to detail.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Healthcare, Pharmaceutical or Medical Products industry recruitment experience.
- Previous Talent Acquisition/HR Project Management experience.
- Formal proactive recruiting and sourcing experience and up to date on Web 2.0, social networks and mobile recruiting applications.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking systems such as Success Factors
