Job Description
Job Title: Clinical Data Analytics Manager
Location: Chadds Ford, PA (Hybrid 3 days a week on site)
Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Clinical Data Analytics Manager to lead a team focused on clinical trial data operations and analytics. This role blends technical leadership, stakeholder engagement, and people management, with a strong emphasis on clinical data systems and visualization tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of offshore contractors (data engineers and analysts).
- Own the clinical data analytics strategy across clinical trial operations.
- Engage with business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable data insights.
- Oversee development and visualization of clinical data using tools like Power BI, Databricks, and MS Fabric.
- Ensure data integrity and structure across systems such as EDC (e.g., Veeva), CTMS (Oracle or similar), and Planisware.
- Drive hands-on analytics work while managing people and processes.
- Collaborate with clinical SMEs and technical teams to ensure alignment across data pipelines and reporting.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing data analytics teams, ideally in a clinical trial or pharma environment.
- Strong technical proficiency in:
- Power BI (must-have)
- Python
- Databricks, SQL-based databases
- MS Fabric (preferred)
- Deep understanding of clinical trial patient data, clinical operations, and clinical data systems.
- Familiarity with EDC systems (Veeva or equivalent) and CTMS platforms.
- Experience with Planisware or similar project management tools.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, especially in managing offshore teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a pharma or biotech company working with clinical data.
- Experience as a technical lead or data manager in clinical analytics.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and business acumen.
