Team Lead Supply Chain Execution
Job Description
The Role
A global medical technology manufacturing site is looking for a Team Lead Supply Chain Execution to ensure stable, reliable and cost effective supply execution in a low volume, high complexity environment. The role combines people leadership, hands on supply chain execution and operational supplier risk management, acting as a central execution anchor between suppliers, operations and planning.
You will lead and develop a supply chain execution team and take ownership of material availability, delivery reliability and stock performance. The role sits at the heart of daily execution, managing escalations, coordinating critical supply topics and enabling fast decision making across purchasing, logistics, planning and operations.
Key Focus Areas
- Lead and further develop the purchasing and supply execution team
- Ensure material availability, delivery performance and cost control in a complex manufacturing environment
- Manage supplier escalations, shortages and delivery risks
- Own operational supplier risk management and mitigation actions
- Act as the supply chain execution interface into the site control centre
- Drive cross functional problem solving and continuous improvement in supply execution
Candidate Profile
You bring at least five years of supply chain experience, including time spent in a low volume, high complexity environment such as machinery or engineered systems. You have proven people management experience and are comfortable leading teams through operational pressure and change.
Native level German and fluent English are required. You are solution oriented, proactive and willing to go the extra mile. You think outside the box, enjoy developing yourself and others, and are able to work independently while staying highly driven and execution focused.
