Job Title: Junior Business Analyst / Business Analyst

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
Reporting to: Business Analysis Manager
Location: Office-based – Tokyo

Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and data-driven individual to join a growing Business Analysis team. This role offers the opportunity to develop strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, gain exposure to industry best practices, and work closely with senior stakeholders across a range of projects.

The position provides early responsibility in project delivery, high visibility within the organisation, and the chance to contribute to both local and international initiatives within a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects and timelines to meet internal and client deadlines
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders and team members to interpret data and develop recommendations
  • Analyse data from multiple sources using both quantitative and qualitative methods
  • Identify trends, gaps, and areas for further investigation
  • Build and maintain Excel-based data models and databases
  • Produce high-quality presentations and deliverables (PowerPoint)
  • Support wider team delivery and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Essential Requirements

  • Degree in a numerically focused discipline
  • 0.5-3 years’ experience in an analytical or Business Analyst-type role
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Proactive, driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
