QC Instrument Engineer
Job Description
Full-time l 6 month contract
A global life science manufacturing environment is seeking an experienced QC Instrument Engineer to support a large scale operational excellence programme. This role sits within a multidisciplinary GMP project team and focuses on the qualification and validation of quality control instrumentation and environmental monitoring systems.
The role
You will take ownership of end to end qualification activities for multiple QC instruments used in controlled manufacturing environments. Acting as the technical expert, you will lead stakeholders through a risk based qualification lifecycle while ensuring compliance with GMP and data integrity expectations.
Key responsibilities include
- Full IQ OQ PQ execution for QC instruments and continuous monitoring systems
- Ownership of URS to PQ lifecycle including scope definition and risk assessments
- Authoring reviewing and approving qualification protocols and final reports
- Coordination of project activities across quality validation IT metrology and external vendors
- Support of change management activities linked to validated systems
- Contribution to system administration activities and procedural documentation once systems are released for use
- Active involvement in a wider operational improvement programme impacting manufacturing and QC operations
Required experience
- Minimum three years experience in QC instrument qualification within a GMP regulated pharmaceutical or biotech environment
- Proven hands on experience with qualification and validation of analytical or monitoring equipment
- Strong understanding of data integrity and regulatory expectations
- Experience working in cross functional project teams
- Previous involvement in change management activities is beneficial
Background
- Bachelor level degree in life sciences engineering or a related technical discipline
- Fluency in English
- Project based consulting or contractor experience is advantageous
