Medical Operations Manager

Are you a proactive and detail-oriented professional passionate about improving patient outcomes and streamlining medical processes? Join our team as a Medical Operations Manager, a pivotal role within our Medical Affairs division. In this position, you will lead critical operational initiatives, enhance processes, and collaborate across functions to ensure the seamless and compliant delivery of compassionate supply and patient access programs. Your strategic mindset and hands-on approach will be instrumental in shaping the future of our medical operations, making a tangible difference in patients’ lives while advancing our organizational goals.

Required Skills:

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and analytical tools like PowerBI
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and work with systems such as SAP, Concur, Veeva, SharePoint, and MS Teams
  • High attention to detail with the capacity to manage complex, sensitive projects independently
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry standards and ABPI Code of Practice (desired)
  • Experience in supporting or managing patient access or compassionate supply programs
  • Proven track record of driving operational improvements and process optimizations

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with digital automation, reporting, and workflow enhancement tools
  • Familiarity with audit processes and medical governance frameworks
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and training sessions
  • Knowledge of medical strategy development and long-term operational planning

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a scientific, pharmaceutical, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Several years of experience supporting or managing medical operations within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • Prior involvement in patient access programs or compassionate supply initiatives
  • Experience leading operational rollouts of new processes or tools in a fast-paced environment
