Job Description

Leadership Scope
This is a senior individual contributor role with significant functional leadership responsibility. This person is expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy — independently leading business discussions, managing vendor and offshore partner deliverables, and driving decisions without requiring daily direction. Will own relationships with business stakeholders, represent IT with credibility and presence, and be accountable for outcomes across the full project lifecycle.

Position Summary / Overview of Role

Seeking a Senior Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM & Manufacturing Consultant with deep, hands-on expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain and Manufacturing modules. This is not a support or order-taking role. We are looking for a seasoned leader who can walk into a room with business stakeholders, build trust quickly, translate ambiguous and complex business challenges into practical Oracle solutions, and drive decisions — not just document requirements.

The ideal candidate brings 15+ years of Oracle Applications experience, with a strong concentration in Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM and Manufacturing implementations. They are equally comfortable leading executive-level design reviews and rolling up their sleeves to configure and validate solutions. They proactively surface risks, issues, and gaps — always with proposed solutions in hand — and they hold vendors and offshore resources accountable to delivery standards without requiring constant oversight.

This role will serve as a leading IT representative for the companies core supply chain and manufacturing business processes, requiring someone who can build lasting credibility with the business and represent IT as a strategic partner.

Essential Role Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Business Engagement
· Lead complex business discussions independently — facilitate design sessions, solution workshops, and executive reviews without requiring daily direction or escalation support.
· Build trust quickly with business stakeholders across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, and Operations; serve as the face of IT for these domains.
· Translate vague, ambiguous, and complex business requirements into actionable Oracle Fusion solution designs and concrete next steps.
· Drive decisions — bring forward recommendations, facilitate alignment, and move initiatives forward rather than waiting for direction.
· Proactively identify and surface risks, issues, and gaps with proposed mitigation strategies before they become problems.
· Represent IT in cross-functional forums, steering committees, and program-level reviews with executive presence and credibility.

Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM & Manufacturing Delivery
· Lead end-to-end Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM and Manufacturing implementations — from AS-IS process assessment through TO-BE design, configuration, testing, training, and go-live.
· Serve as Functional Lead across core SCM and Manufacturing modules, owning solution integrity across the full delivery lifecycle.
· Lead Conference Room Pilots (CRPs) and design validation sessions with business stakeholders.
· Drive Gap Analysis, configuration decisions, and solution trade-off discussions with a bias toward practical, scalable outcomes.
· Oversee Data Conversion strategy and execution for SCM and Manufacturing domains.
· Lead QA/UAT Testing cycles — develop test strategies, manage execution, and drive defect resolution to closure.
· Develop and deliver targeted end-user training programs that drive adoption and knowledge retention.

Vendor, Offshore & Partner Management
· Manage vendor and offshore resource deliverables — set clear expectations, review outputs, and hold partners accountable to quality and timeline without requiring daily supervision.
· Provide functional governance over third-party integrations to Oracle Fusion and external systems.
· Escalate partner performance issues proactively with recommended corrective actions.

Continuous Improvement & Architecture
· Identify opportunities to optimize and re-engineer supply chain and manufacturing business processes within Oracle Fusion.
· Provide forward-looking recommendations on Oracle Fusion roadmap capabilities and how they apply to evolving needs.
· Support SDLC and change control processes end-to-end, ensuring solution integrity across releases.
