Credit Controller
Job Description
About the role
This position plays a key role within a European Quote to Cash operating model as part of a Global Business Services environment. The Credit Controller Europe is responsible for managing credit risk and supporting order release processes across the region while ensuring financial integrity and a smooth customer experience.
You will work closely with Sales Finance Customer Service and Collections teams and contribute to both operational delivery and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities
Credit management and risk control
* Assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers using financial analysis and internal systems
* Apply credit policies and procedures in line with internal controls and compliance requirements
* Monitor and manage credit limits payment terms and customer master data
Order release
* Manage and approve order releases in accordance with credit limits and ageing criteria
Quote to Cash integration
* Operate within an end to end Quote to Cash framework
* Support initiatives related to cash management collections and system optimisation
Stakeholder engagement
* Partner with Sales Customer Service and local teams to resolve credit issues and enable business growth
* Provide reporting and insights to management on credit performance and risk exposure
Continuous improvement
* Identify opportunities to strengthen processes within the Quote to Cash structure
* Contribute to digital automation and innovation projects aimed at improving credit operations
Candidate profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance Accounting or Business Administration
* At least three years of experience in credit control ideally within a multinational or shared services environment
* Strong analytical capability and experience with credit management systems
* Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
* Experience with SAP S4 Hana is an advantage
