Medical Device Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test medical device components and systems in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize device performance and ensure safety.
- Conduct thorough verification and validation processes to meet industry and company standards.
- Maintain detailed documentation of designs, testing procedures, and process improvements.
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues throughout the product lifecycle.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in medical device design, development, or engineering.
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA standards).
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with hardware-in-the-loop testing or embedded systems.
- Knowledge of sterile manufacturing processes.
- Previous involvement in product launches or FDA submissions.
- Familiarity with risk management standards such as ISO 14971.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant industry experience in medical device engineering.
