Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cheminformatics algorithms and models to analyze complex chemical datasets.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate chemical data insights into actionable research outcomes.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in cheminformatics and apply them to ongoing projects.
  • Manage and curate chemical databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
  • Contribute to publications and presentations that showcase research findings.

Required Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in cheminformatics tools and software (e.g., KNIME, ChemAxon, RDKit).
  • Solid understanding of chemistry, molecular modeling, and data analysis.
  • Experience programming in languages such as Python, R, or Java.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret complex chemical data and communicate insights effectively.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Knowledge of machine learning and AI applications in cheminformatics.
  • Experience with academic or industrial research environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and workflows.
  • Prior exposure to drug discovery or pharmaceutical research.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • PhD or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of research or professional experience in cheminformatics or related disciplines.
