Job Description

Join Our Team as a Junior Quality & Regulatory Affairs Specialist – Make an Impact from Barcelona or Portugal!

Are you passionate about healthcare and eager to kickstart your career in medical device regulation? We’re seeking a dynamic, junior-level QARA Specialist to support critical post-market activities across the Portuguese market–an excellent opportunity to grow within a global leader in medical technology. Based in vibrant Barcelona or working remotely from Portugal, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring compliance, handling complaints, and managing product recalls–all in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Ideal candidates will have 6 months to 2+ years’ experience in Regulatory Affairs, preferably within medical devices or pharmaceuticals. A university background is a plus, but a proactive attitude and language skills are paramount. Fluency in Portuguese, with good knowledge of Spanish and English, is essential to communicate effectively with local authorities and teams.

Required skills include a solid understanding of ISO 13485, familiarity with European Medical Device Regulations (EU MDR 2017/745), and experience in complaint handling, report management, and supporting quality processes. Nice-to-have skills involve prior exposure to audits and product surveillance. The role offers an exciting pathway to develop regulatory expertise within a global organization committed to innovation and patient mobility.

If you’re ready to contribute to life-changing products and grow your career in a supportive environment, we want to hear from you. Take the first step–apply now and become a vital part of our mission to enhance mobility worldwide!

Fraud Alert

Candidate safety is a top priority at Planet Pharma. The industry has seen an increase in people falsely representing themselves as recruiters to gather personal information from job seekers. For your safety, do not provide sensitive data to anyone you have not spoken with thoroughly, never provide banking information during the application process and always double check the email address of the Recruiter to ensure it’s from an official Planet Pharma domain (@planet-pharma.com, @planet-pharma.co.uk, and @ppgadvisorypartners.com) and not a domain with an alternative extension like .net, .org or .jobs.
