Manufacturing Technician (Night Shift)
Job Description
A leading advanced manufacturing business is looking for a Production Technician to join a high volume, highly automated environment on a permanent night shift pattern. This is a hands on role combining production support, maintenance, and fault finding within a fast paced setting.
Shift Pattern
3 days on, 3 days off
11pm to 11am
The Role
You will take ownership of technical and processing activities across the production line, ensuring machinery runs efficiently while maintaining quality and uptime.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating production machinery and supporting daily line activities
- Covering breaks, assembling product, and managing pallet release duties
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and refurbishing offline equipment
- Diagnosing and repairing electro mechanical faults
- Ensuring equipment is set correctly and producing to required standards
- Monitoring in process quality and resolving issues to avoid product holds
- Minimising downtime while controlling repair and spare part costs
About You
- Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in a high volume, fast paced manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Comfortable working permanent night shifts
