Quality Supervisor
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Quality Supervisor to lead daily quality operations within a regulated environment. This role is responsible for supervising a team of quality professionals, ensuring compliance with applicable quality standards and regulations, supporting quality systems, and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence.
The successful candidate will provide leadership, oversight, and guidance for quality-related activities, while fostering a culture of compliance, continuous improvement, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support a team of quality personnel, providing coaching, training, and performance management.
- Ensure quality operations are conducted in compliance with established procedures, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
- Review and maintain quality documentation, records, and systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Support quality investigations, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), deviations, and change control activities.
- Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and other departments to resolve quality-related issues.
- Monitor quality performance metrics and implement improvements to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
- Participate in internal and external audits and support inspection readiness activities.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, quality, safety, and operational excellence.
- Ensure adherence to workplace safety policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding quality matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, technical, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
- 3+ years of experience in a quality function within a regulated industry.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Knowledge of quality systems, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic quality management systems.
