12 month contract l full time l on-site 

Planet Pharma is supporting a leading life sciences organisation in the search for an experienced project planning professional to join a major pharmaceutical capital investment programme.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of a complex, high value project, providing schedule leadership, strategic planning support and project controls expertise across multiple workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain integrated project schedules, ensuring key milestones and critical path activities remain on track.
  • Analyse schedule performance, identify risks and bottlenecks, and provide recommendations to project leadership.
  • Support project teams with planning insights to enable informed decision making.
  • Develop, manage and optimise project schedules in line with established planning standards.
  • Ensure accurate and timely schedule updates are communicated across the project organisation.
  • Work closely with package leads and stakeholders to understand dependencies, constraints and potential delivery risks.
  • Coordinate planning activities across multiple functions while supporting resource and workload management.

Experience Required

  • 10+ years of project planning experience within large scale CAPEX programmes.
  • Previous pharmaceutical, biotechnology or highly regulated industry experience.
  • Strong understanding of commissioning, qualification and validation activities.
  • Advanced Primavera P6 expertise and experience managing complex project schedules.
  • Proven ability to analyse data and translate findings into actionable project decisions.
  • Experience supporting multidisciplinary project teams in fast paced environments.

Preferred Background

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Project Management certification such as PMP would be advantageous.
  • Experience supporting large manufacturing, facility expansion or infrastructure projects.
