IT Infrastructure & Operations Manager
Job Description
Duties:
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls.
Support day-to-day network operations including incident resolution, change management, and performance monitoring
Assist in the design and implementation of network architecture improvements to enhance reliability, scalability, and security
Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks or failures
Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and configuration records
Participate in on-call to support critical network infrastructure
Support integration of on-premises network infrastructure with GCP and/or AWS cloud environments
Assist in the configuration and maintenance of cloud VPN tunnels and hybrid connectivity
Collaborate with cloud teams to ensure proper VPC networking, security groups, and routing configurations
Gain exposure to cloud-native networking tools such as AWS VPC, CloudWatch, and GCP Cloud Networking
Skills:
Network: Catalyst switches, ISR routers, Meraki, DNA Center, VPC, GCP, AWS, etc
Protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, NTP, STP, LACP, OSPF, BGP, ACLs, VPN
Tools: Network monitoring platforms (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, or similar), Wireshark, CLI-based troubleshooting, monitoring tools like DynaTrace is a plus and basic scripting knowledge (Python or PowerShell) for automation tasks is a plus
Familiarity with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow preferred) for ticket management
Education:
Cisco CCIE certification (preferred)
Exposure to GCP or AWS networking (VPC, VPN, routing)
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Google Associate Cloud Engineer (nice to have)
Experience with SD-WAN solutions (Cisco Viptela or Meraki)
Familiarity with network automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)
Knowledge of ITIL framework and change management processes
Certifications & Licenses:
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
Cisco CCIE Certification
Google Associate Cloud Engineer
Pay Range: $95-105/hr *based on experience
