Job Description

Target PR Range: 39-49/hr

About the Role

We are seeking a Scientist II with expertise in chemistry and a strong understanding of HPLC and LC/MS. Experience in PET radiochemistry is preferred. This contractor role will support PET tracer metabolite analysis and routine radiotracer production activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the setup and optimization of HPLC systems for metabolite analysis of PET tracers.
  • Perform the daily operation of HPLC systems used for metabolite analysis.
  • Conduct routine PET radiotracer production activities.
  • Independently establish HPLC methods and ensure that systems are robust, reliable, and properly maintained.
  • Document experimental procedures, results, and laboratory activities in accordance with applicable standards.
  • Follow all relevant laboratory safety, quality, and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related scientific discipline with at least five years of experience; or
  • Master’s degree in chemistry or a related scientific discipline with at least three years of research experience
  • Working knowledge of HPLC and LC/MS.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain laboratory systems effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in PET radiochemistry.
  • Experience with setting up, optimizing, and maintaining HPLC systems
  • Experience with radiotracer production or analytical characterization of PET tracers.

Experience Level:
3-5 Years.
