Scientist II — PET Radiochemistry and Metabolite Analysis
Job Description
Target PR Range: 39-49/hr

About the Role
We are seeking a Scientist II with expertise in chemistry and a strong understanding of HPLC and LC/MS. Experience in PET radiochemistry is preferred. This contractor role will support PET tracer metabolite analysis and routine radiotracer production activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the setup and optimization of HPLC systems for metabolite analysis of PET tracers.
- Perform the daily operation of HPLC systems used for metabolite analysis.
- Conduct routine PET radiotracer production activities.
- Independently establish HPLC methods and ensure that systems are robust, reliable, and properly maintained.
- Document experimental procedures, results, and laboratory activities in accordance with applicable standards.
- Follow all relevant laboratory safety, quality, and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related scientific discipline with at least five years of experience; or
- Master’s degree in chemistry or a related scientific discipline with at least three years of research experience
- Working knowledge of HPLC and LC/MS.
- Ability to work independently and maintain laboratory systems effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in PET radiochemistry.
- Experience with setting up, optimizing, and maintaining HPLC systems
- Experience with radiotracer production or analytical characterization of PET tracers.
Experience Level:
3-5 Years.
