As an AI Trainer, you will leverage your expertise to evaluate and enhance AI-generated responses within healthcare workflows such as medical coding, billing, utilization management, and payer operations. This fully remote role offers an engaging opportunity to utilize your healthcare knowledge in a forward-thinking environment, supporting the development of industry-specific AI tools that improve efficiency and accuracy across healthcare systems.
Required Skills:
- 5-10 years of healthcare industry experience, especially in medical coding, billing, or healthcare operations
- Practical expertise in medical coding (CPC, CCS, CCA preferred but optional) or significant healthcare operations background
- Strong written communication skills and ability to work independently
- Familiarity with AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) at a user level
- Reliable availability for 30-40 hours per week throughout the 12-week project
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with AI tools and data annotation platforms
- Previous work in structured, office-based roles such as coding, revenue cycle, or utilization review
- Leadership or coordination experience in healthcare settings
- Prior engagement with AI training or data validation projects
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Healthcare certifications (e.g., CPC, CCS, CCA) are advantageous but not mandatory
- Clinicians who have transitioned into administrative or operational roles are highly valued
Other Requirements:
- Positioned primarily in the US; UK and Canada candidates may be considered with confirmation
- Must pass a 3-4 hour paid skills assessment ($240) to qualify for the project
- Full commitment and availability for the duration of the 12-week sprint
- No patient care, shift work, or on-call responsibilities involved
