Role Overview:
We are seeking experienced AI Trainers with a strong background in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning to help train and validate large AI models across various industries. This role involves working on data annotation workflows, assessing AI-generated responses, and refining models — all in a fully remote setting. Candidates should be self-directed, detail-oriented, and ready to commit 30-40 hours per week for a 12-week sprint. Participants will be paid via PayPal directly by the client, providing flexibility and timely compensation.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years professional experience in data science, analytics, machine learning, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Python and/or SQL, with the ability to read and write analysis code.
- Strong written communication skills and experience working independently in remote environments.
- Familiarity with AI and large language model (LLM) tools at a user level.
- Good understanding of data annotation, validation workflows, and business processes related to AI training.
- Demonstrable experience in data analysis, statistical reasoning, or applied modeling.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Advanced degrees in quantitative fields (optional but advantageous).
- Experience working within small companies, startups, or as an independent contractor.
- Prior involvement in AI training projects, data quality assurance, or data pipeline management.
- Additional familiarity with AI/ML tools beyond basic user-level knowledge.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related disciplines.
- 5-10 years of hands-on industry or research experience in data science or analytics.
- Proven ability to work on complex data projects and contribute to AI model development and training.
Other Requirements:
- Candidates must be based in the US, UK, or Canada (confirm eligibility).
- Full availability for the duration of the 12-week sprint, committing 30-40 hours weekly.
- Reliable internet connection and self-motivation to work remotely.
- Must complete and pass an initial training session ~6-10 hours as well as a trial phase that encompasses ~10-15 hours of work – both sessions of work will be compensated.
