Senior Diagnostic Advisor
Job Description
Ideal Profile
A senior diagnostic advisor who understands both the health-system adoption pathway and the payer coverage pathway for novel oncology diagnostics, and can help define the evidence, reimbursement, and commercialization strategy required to support adoption, scalability, and investor discussions. Direct experience in designing or managing a Self-Insured Health Plan or were a vendor that helped companies make that decision, that would be ideal.
Areas of Expertise Needed
- Self-funded employer and payer strategies
- First-in-class or novel diagnostic launches
- Molecular and oncology diagnostics
- Market access and reimbursement strategy
- Medicare and commercial payer requirements
- Coding, coverage, and payment pathways
- Health system, pathology, and laboratory adoption
Nice to Have:
- Experience bridging both the provider (health system) and payer perspectives
- Diagnostic commercialization and go-to-market strategy
- Clinical utility and health economics evidence generation
- Payer evidence development and value proposition strategy
- Investor-facing commercialization planning
