Project Manager for Quality Control (Opex)
Job Description
Contract l 9 months l Full-time
A leading biopharmaceutical organisation is seeking a Project Manager to lead analytical method transfer activities within a GMP Quality Control environment.
Working across QC, Analytical Development, MSAT, QA, and Compliance teams, you will drive the successful transfer of analytical methods, coordinate key stakeholders, manage project timelines and risks, and ensure transfer activities are delivered to quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead analytical method transfer projects, including bioassay transfers
- Manage project plans, timelines, risks, and milestones
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across QC, QA, MSAT, and Compliance
- Facilitate project meetings and provide progress updates
- Oversee transfer documentation, including protocols, reports, risk assessments, and change controls
- Ensure activities are delivered in line with GMP requirements
Requirements
- Degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related discipline
- Experience leading analytical method transfer projects within pharma or biotech
- Strong understanding of bioassays, GMP laboratory operations, and method validation
- Experience authoring technical and quality documentation
- Knowledge of cGMP and ICH guidelines
- Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to independently drive complex cross-functional projects
