Position Overview
The Reliability Engineer is responsible for ensuring product quality and performance by investigating failures, identifying root causes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to enhance product reliability and deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth failure analyses to determine root causes and contributing factors of product issues
- Analyze trends in reported failures and complaints to identify recurring problems and opportunities for improvement
- Categorize and prioritize customer complaints to ensure timely and effective investigations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality, manufacturing, and engineering, to gather data and insights for thorough analysis
- Partner with product owners and design teams to implement reliability improvements and prevent future failures
- Communicate investigation findings, corrective actions, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders and customers
- Participate in regular team meetings to share insights, align on priorities, and contribute to continuous improvement strategies
Qualifications (optional to include if needed)
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
- Experience with failure analysis methodologies (e.g., FMEA, root cause analysis)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
